The post Melinda Henne, M.D. first appeared on RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.]]> Melinda Henne, M.D., joined IVF FLORIDA in 2023. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Henne joins the IVF Florida team with private practice, academic, and military experience.

Dr. Henne always knew medicine was her calling and became excited about caring for women with fertility struggles in high school as she watched her older brother and his wife struggle to conceive. She completed her undergraduate education at Georgetown University with a degree in Government Studies before joining the military to complete her medical education at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Henne completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in the military and practiced general Obstetrics & Gynecology in the military before ultimately completing her Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Fellowship at Stanford University.

While at Stanford, she obtained a master’s degree in Health Services Research. She then served in the Air Force and gained experience as the Director of the Infertility Program at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. She was on faculty for the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowships at the National Institute of Health and Uniformed Services University for Health Services.

After retiring from the Air Force as a Colonel, she became an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida before she moved to private practice. Although she loves all aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology, she is most passionate about reproductive options for single women and the LGBTQ+ community. She enjoys reproductive surgery, and her favorite procedure is tubal reversals.

Dr. Henne enjoys learning and is currently pursuing her MBA. When she is not working or studying, she is doting on her three adorable “furkids,” searching for the best vegan restaurant or practicing yoga. She also likes hiking, and Mt. Kilimanjaro is on her bucket list.

Luis R. Hoyos, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., joined IVF Florida Reproductive Associates in 2021. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Hoyos is originally from Colombia, where he completed medical school, and moved to the United States to complete his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI., where he was the Academic Chief Resident and received multiple accolades including, Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Residency Excellence in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Excellence in Academic Achievement for four consecutive years.

Marc R. Gualtieri, M.D., joined IVF Florida Reproductive Associates in August of 2015 to assist and treat patients in the Jupiter and Wellington offices. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He completed his subspecialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in June of 2015 after attending medical school and residency at the University of Miami.

Vanessa N. Laurice Bou Nemer, M.D., joined IVF Florida Reproductive Associates in December of 2018. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Bou Nemer completed her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in June 2018. In addition to presenting her research at the national level, Dr. Bou Nemer has been awarded multiple awards for her research and skills, including awards for Best Resident Research from the University of Miami Obstetric and Gynecology Alumni society and Outstanding Achievement in Resident Research at the ACOG District XII Meeting in 2014.
