Shruti Malik, M.D., FACOG is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist at Shady Grove Fertility in Virginia. She received her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. After finishing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Summa Health System, she completed a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Malik has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), male factor infertility, and ovarian aging. She is also accomplished in the areas of fertility preservation and elective egg freezing. Dr. Malik has received several honors, including the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Physician Services Division Scholarship, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgery Outstanding Surgeon Resident Award, and the Cleveland Society of OB/GYN Women’s Health Service and Leadership Award.

She has presented her research on fertility preservation and sexual dysfunction at several national meetings. An advocate in the reproductive endocrinology field, Dr. Malik has held a variety of leadership roles with the American Medical Student Association and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Malik enjoys running, photography, tennis, and traveling. Cigdem (“Cori”) Tanrikut, MD, FACS, is a board certified Urologist at Shady Grove Fertility. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her urologic surgery residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/Harvard Medical School, and then continued on to Weill Cornell Medical College in New York to pursue a fellowship in male infertility and microsurgery.

Upon completing her fellowship training, she became the Director of Male Reproductive Medicine at the MGH Fertility Center. While at Harvard, she was an Associate Professor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. In 2015, she was named the Quality Chair for the MGH Department of Urology, and in 2017, she became the President of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology. Dr. Tanrikut’s research endeavors include assessing how lifestyle and medications may impact male reproductive health, sperm banking trends, and sperm-related factors to optimize fertility treatment outcomes. Dr. Tanrikut is available for new patient appointments at several Shady Grove Fertility offices throughout the Baltimore area.

Anitha S. Nair, M.D. is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist at Shady Grove Fertility. Andrea Reh, M.D., FACOG, is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist at Shady Grove Fertility in Arlington, VA. She graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a bachelor of arts in biology. She then received her medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.

Dr. Reh completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. During residency, she served as the administrative chief resident and was selected as an outstanding resident in gynecologic endoscopy by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She then went on to complete a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the NYU Fertility Center with the NYU School of Medicine in New York City.

Dr. Reh has published and spoken nationally on a variety of topics related to infertility, including fertility preservation, in vitro fertilization stimulation protocols, donor egg, thyroid autoimmunity, blastocyst transfer, and chromosomal aneuploidy. She has been an invited panelist for WIAD FM’s Community Focus and Curetalks.com regarding fertility preservation, and she speaks regularly for local young adult cancer survivor support groups through Inova’s Life with Cancer. She is a recipient of the Berlex Foundation Faculty Development Research Award and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine CREST Scholarship.

She is currently an assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the Virginia Commonwealth University and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Reh was born and raised in Pittsburgh and lives in Virginia, with her husband and their three children.
