Laura Zalles, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and board eligible in medical genetics and genomics. Dr. Zalles earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. From there, she completed her residency training in OB/GYN at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Zalles then continued her training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York to complete her fellowship in medical genetics and genomics.

Covington, MSW, is a clinical social worker and internationally recognized expert in fertility counseling with over 40 years experience in reproductive health. Her passion is working with individuals, couples and groups around reproductive loss issues and has been recognized as one of Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Therapist for her work in this area. Sharon is Director of Psychological Support Services for Shady Grove Fertility, on the clinical faculty at Georgetown University School of Medicine in the Department of OB/GYN, and an Associate Investigator in the Intramural Research Program on Reproductive and Adult Endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health. She lectures and writes extensively on reproductive issues, most recently editing Fertility Counseling: Clinical Guide and Case Studies and co-editing the classic, Infertility Counseling: A Comprehensive Handbook for Clinicians.

Michael J. Levy, M.D. is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, co-founder and Director of the IVF and Donor Egg Programs at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, MD. In 1993, Dr. Levy pioneered the revolutionary IVF Shared Risk 100% Refund program with the goal of helping more couples afford the treatment they needed by guaranteeing treatment success or their money back. Lauren Roth, M.D. is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist at Shady Grove Fertility in Frederick, MD. She completed her undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She continued on to the University of Colorado, Denver where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a 3 year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She then served as an Assistant Professor at University of Colorado for 2 years before moving back to Maryland. During her fellowship and time as faculty at University of Colorado, she presented research at multiple national meetings and received three national research awards. She has published research on a range of fertility topics including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and the impact of weight on reproductive hormones. Kathryn C. Humm, M.D., is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who is passionate about working with patients to overcome infertility. Dr. Humm completed her undergraduate degree at Yale University and then earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts where she was elected Administrative Chief Resident. During that time, she was awarded several teaching awards including the Chief Resident Prize for Excellence in Teaching.

Joseph Doyle, MD is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockille, MD. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA. Dr. Doyle then completed a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Massachusetts General Hospital. During his training, Dr. Doyle received several teaching and clinical excellence awards. His research efforts focused on oocyte cryopreservation, and he presented numerous times at national meetings and has multiple publications. Dr. Doyle is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, for which he has developed education modules and served as an ad hoc reviewer, and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Originally from Virginia, Dr. Doyle is married and enjoys competing in triathlons, as well as skiing and exploring the outdoors. O’Brien, M.D., received her medical degree from the Brown-Dartmouth Medical Program in Providence, RI, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Prentice Women’s Hospital at Northwestern University in Chicago. In the 3 years following residency, Dr. O’Brien remained at Northwestern as a clinical instructor. She then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Northwestern University and earned a master of science in clinical investigation.
