The post Larry Barmat, MD first appeared on RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.]]> Dr. Larry Barmat is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Barmat is a respected Reproductive Endocrinologist, surgeon, and researcher. He pioneered research on autologous endometrial coculture (growing embryos on a patient’s own uterine cells) to enhance IVF success rates during his time at Cornell. He has led research into uterine markers of implantation, the effects of hydrosalpinges on IVF, and robotic reproductive surgery. Dr. Barmat has published extensively on in-vitro fertilization, fibroids, and endometriosis and received numerous honors from local and national medical societies.

In recognition of his career, Dr. Barmat was named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly each year from 2015 to 2024, as well as a Top Doctor in Philadelphia Magazine (2018-2024) and New York Magazine (2023).
